My dog is a rescue and has significant anxiety and trust issues.
It took me weeks, maybe months to gain the trust and comfort level that Rebecca established in days. She understands and cares about her dogs, and anyone who has a dog knows, they can tell.

I’m sure I’m not the only client whose dog cops an attitude if too many days go by without seeing Rebecca and the gang at the B&C.

Best daycare and boarding in Middlesex/Worcester county!! Rebecca is so knowledgeable and patient with our puppy Ragnar. He was so scared of the other dogs when he first attended, even though he’s the size of a small moose. Rebecca said let me work with him. By day four, he had a whole bunch of best friends and now can’t wait to go see them. Ragnar goes 2-3 days a week and gets so much needed exercise. After he plays with his best friends all day, he sleeps great and we do too. He’s so happy, we’re lucky to have great daycare and boarding in Ashby, so safe!

I cannot say enough about Rebecca at the Bark and Call Inn. We have a golden retriever named Ruby who has been going to the Bark and Call since she was old enough to go. We wanted to send Ruby to a daycare that felt like an extension of our home and we found that here at BCI. Rebecca takes time out of her day to talk with you about your dog’s day and is very accommodating when a life situation happens. She is available and answers any issues that may come up altering your schedule in a reasonable time. She shows your fur baby her love and cares for them while in her care. If there is ever a health issue she notices about your dog, she will alert you and talk to you about whatever is going on. Ruby is always excited to go to daycare and has the freedom to play in a large fenced in yard without a leash to enjoy the backyard with her friends. Ruby likes to wait at the “red door” for Rebecca to greet us and she is ready to run inside to see her friends. At the end of the day with pick up, Ruby returns to us tired from a day full of playing. My heart is happy knowing that Ruby is well cared for and has a fun filled day of adventure. I would recommend the Bark and Call Inn to those that wish for a home setting filled with adventure, playfulness with other dogs and a whole bunch of love!

We use The Bark & Call Inn in Ashby, MA for both daycare and boarding. Rebecca has created a beautiful space in Ashby, MA where our Oliver feels welcomed as one of her family members. We loved that they offer a trial day to ensure compatibility and safety for all the dogs in their care. And, having experienced and knowledgeable staff like Rebecca adds an extra layer of reassurance for us and I’m sure all the other pet owners that bring their dogs here. Oliver loves his time there, getting to play and socialize in a safe environment because he is usually a very tired pup when we pick him up@ having peace of mind knowing that Oliver is happy and well cared for when we are traveling, on vacation, or have contractors over the house makes life so much easier for us. Lucy LOVES it at Rebecca’s place! We feel comfortable leaving her at the Bark and Call Inn, because we know she is well cared-for there. We especially like that she gets plenty of outside time, running around and playing with the other dogs. When playtime is over, we like knowing that she will not be spending the rest of her time in a crate – she gets to relax inside the home, where she can be like one of the family. We travel quite a bit for work, and vacations as well. When we can’t bring Lucy along, it’s great knowing that we can rely on Rebecca for quality care. It’s her home away from home.

We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Rebecca and The Bark & Call Inn. We have been bringing our dogs to board with Rebecca for over a year now and we have been so happy! Life has a funny way of bringing people together, and that was our experience. We are forever grateful that our paths crossed.
We have two Mini Australian Shepherds. Our girl Lulu is young and friendly. Our boy Ozzy is a little older and not the easiest of dogs. He is great with us, but anxious around other dogs and people. This makes it difficult for us to feel comfortable leaving them when we need to travel or want to go on vacation.

Once we met Rebecca, boarding our dogs became so much easier. We will happily travel over an hour to Ashby, knowing that Lulu and Ozzy are in great hands with her! It is a huge relief. We honestly wish we lived closer so that they could go to daycare occasionally as well, to be around other dogs and another person.

Rebecca takes such great care of our dogs. She is professional and flexible. She knows them, their personalities and has helped Ozzy feel comfortable when he visits. She gave him his own room when he needed it. She constantly amazes me with stories of how he settles in while he boards with her, sometimes I wonder if we are talking about the same dog!! Our experience has been wonderful, and we highly recommend The Bark and Call Inn.

There are so many great things about The Bark & Call Inn! We love how close it is to our home and the convenience of being able to drop our dog Clay off on my way to work is a time saver. Clay is a 1 year old German Short-haired Pointer and our first dog. Not only has the socialization of daycare been imperative to our dog’s growth and development but Rebecca has been a life saver giving us advice when she can and advising us to check with our vet when she feels it’s necessary. Her knowledge and the amount of care she puts into each pup in her care is beyond what we expected to get out of a daycare for our dog. Clay is a very high energy dog and Rebecca does an amazing job handling him and making sure he gets the most out of his day to burn off that energy. We can tell how excited Clay gets on his daycare days and when we pick him up we can tell he’s had a great day running with friends. The scheduling is easy and I love the text reminders. We also love the idea that they offer boarding, we wanted a place that had this offer so that our dog could get to know one set of people and get comfortable in case we ever needed to board him. Choosing Bark and Call Inn for our doggie daycare needs was the best decision we’ve made as pet owners and I highly recommend them and wouldn’t send my pup anywhere else. You can tell how much Rebecca loves animals and that this is her true calling in life. I am so glad we found The Bark and Call Inn.

We found Bark and Call Inn when I realized I needed a place to board my new puppy when we went away for a weekend. He was a shy puppy that wasn’t sure how to act around other dogs. That was almost 3 years ago now. Meco now goes to “daycare” weekly and loves it! He always comes home tired from playing with the other pups. We love bringing him there for the day, or for overnights because it truly is his home away from home. He loves being able to run and play outside and not be cooped up in a crate all day. I couldn’t imagine a better place for Meco.

Rebecca and the Bark and Call Inn have become a part of our family for almost 15 years. When we thought our first dog would never be able to board, Rebecca came highly recommended. She took the time and displayed the patience to get to know and understand our boy. After losing him to illness, Rebecca provided compassion and support in our tough time of transition. She even found a photo of his first day at BCI and sent it to us. We now bring our second fur baby to BCI and she has treated him with the same level of care, as well he’s special needs and she has been such a driving force in building his confidence. When we go on vacation we never worry about the care our dogs have received. Rebecca and the BCI I always refer to anyone for daycare and boarding, no matter where they live. The drive is always well worth the care provided. There’s no place like home, unless it’s the Bark and Call Inn. It’s just like home for our fur babies.

Rebecca is the gem of Ashby! We’ve been bringing our Newfoundland to Rebecca for daycare since he was 5 months old and I credit her for his winning doggie social skills. Rebecca always takes such good care of Ballymoe. If she notices anything unusual, like he’s starting to get sick, she always brings it to our attention. Rebecca’s is really a second home for my dog, where he is surrounded by a loving family and plays all day with his dog friends. More than just a place for my dog, Rebecca herself has become my go-to dog expert for behavior and training questions as well as diet and health issues. I don’t feel as guilty about going on vacations anymore because Ballymoe is so happy at Rebecca’s and I know she takes such good care of him.

I’ll only bring my dogs to Rebeca at the Barn & Call Inn. I have 2 boxers that are nervous and uncomfortable around people/environments they do not know. I moved to Stoughton for 2 years. During that time, if I had to travel overnight, I would drive the 1:45 minutes to continue to bring them to Rebecca. Not only does she take great care of my boys, they are comfortable there and enjoy their visits! I have since moved to West Boylston, so they are able to go more frequently and even for daycare. I like that they are free to roam and Rebecca is trained in both animal behavior and as a vet tech. My boys mean the world to me, and they could not be in better hands!!

My name is Karen, I used to have a chocolate Lab named Tiny. When I first heard about BCI I was so excited to send her there. However, by the time I really put some effort into driving down the street, my dog was old and cranky around other dogs. So I kept saying that our next dog was going to go there from the start. When our dear girl, Tiny passed away, we got a beautiful baby black Lab named Millie. Our children are all grown so Millie is our baby. We started taking her to BCI as a little puppy. To say she loved it was an understatement. From the beginning just the mention of “Do you want to go to Rebecca’s”, sends Millie into a joyous romp until we head to the car where she sits at attention eagerly anticipating seeing Rebecca and all her buddies. The free playing yard and activity make her a very happy pup. Whether she is there for just a play day or for an extended stay, I never have to worry about about her care. The BCI can cover anything from medical issues to lots of love and affection. The Bark & Call Inn is the next best thing to home!!!!!!

We have been using Rebecca’s services (The Bark & Call Inn) for several years now. We are completely satisfied for the following reasons. INTEGRITY. She’s always ready when she says she will be. She keeps the dogs in a safe environment. She takes care of those animals as if they’re her own. Her level of EXPERTISE. She has a vet tech background and utilizes that education with our dogs. So when our pups (we have 3) do not feel well or they have a change in eating, eliminating or personality, Rebecca will notify us and provide a sound recommendation. This is very comforting and helpful especially when you’re at work or far away on a vacation and can’t get there. She is that aware of the subtle changes in our dogs behavior. LOVE. She loves animals. You can’t make someone feel this way. It is such a joy to see our dogs run to her and be so excited to be at The Bark & Call Inn. It eases the burden of dropping our dogs off because we know she will care for them like they were her own. They are not stuck in a kennel all day. One added perk, Rebecca sends us videos of our dogs playing with other dogs during the day. So even in play shes guarding our precious ones. We cant say enough about how much we appreciate the care at The Bark & Call Inn.
