We’re so excited you want to join us here at The Bark & Call Inn! I am accepting new clients based on temperament and sociability. Below are the basic criteria for acceptance.
- All dogs must be safe with other dogs. While differing levels of sociability are welcome, a basic ability to safely interact is necessary.
- Dogs must interact safely with humans. Dogs do not need to be trained or obedient, but they must be safe for me to handle and interact with.
- Dogs must have a play style that is fair and reasonable. They must be able to respond appropriately when another dog wants them to stop a behavior. Some degree of humans stepping in, especially with puppies, is normal and won’t prevent a dog from being accepted.
- Dogs must respect fences and be comfortable playing in an acre enclosure.
- Dogs must be able to be alone or in the company of other dogs.
- Dogs must be physically capable of outdoor play and walking up and down stairs. Otherwise, you should contact me for medical boarding HERE.
- All clients need to complete the registration process providing proof of vaccinations for rabies and distemper.
- Flea & Tick & Heartworm preventative must be up to date at all times of the year, even winter.
- Dogs must provide fecal test results every 6 months.
