- Do you take dogs who don’t get along with other dogs?
The B&C can accommodate many different needs, but aggression of any kind is not suitable for our Inn.
- How much time do the dogs spend outside?
For the most part, dogs spend as much time as they want. In very warm or very cold weather, we exercise good judgement and bring dogs in. As always, we try to meet each dog’s needs and desires for play time versus relax time.
- Are there additional charges for playtimes?
No. There are never additional charges for playtime.
- Do you have half day daycare
All Daycare is full day. Half-day daycare is not offered.
- Are all the yards fenced?
Yes, all yards are fenced. Dogs with a history of jumping fences or escaping are not suitable for The B&C.
- Are you able to administer medication?
Yes. Please see our How to Package Medications page for instructions and charges.
- Can you store and feed raw diets and homemade diets?
We welcome raw and homemade diets. There is a dedicated fridge and freezer for the dogs. Please provide clear instructions and label each container with those instructions and your dog’s name.
- How much human contact do the dogs get?
Lots. We revolve our lives around the dogs in our care. We spend time outside as well as inside in all seasons.
- Are dogs fed separately?
Yes, dogs are fed separately, unless they are housemates who prefer to eat together.
- Where do dogs sleep?
- How do you deal with power outages?
We have generators that are ready to go in the event of a power outage. The generators are outside to avoid carbon monoxide risks. For more information on inclement weather click HERE.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash & Checks. Please check our rates page for prices.
- Are there age restrictions?
All dogs are welcome with age-appropriate vaccinations. For safety, puppies too young to have all their vaccines are welcomed into the Puppy Pathways at the B&C.
Elderly dogs may require Senior Boarding.
- Do you take all breeds?
We accept all breeds. Dogs are accepted based on temperament and sociability.
- Do dogs have access to water?
Yes, dogs have access to water at all times, including while playing outside, and overnight.

- How do I check availability?
It is best to check the calendar before booking as it will show when I am not accepting boarding stays. The scheduling app is not capable of showing this.
- Do you allow appointments outside your listed hours?
I am firm with my hours. I do not offer hours outside of my listed hours.
- What if a dog gets sick while with you?
While all dogs must be healthy to attend. I have Health & Safety Procedures in the eventuality that a dog gets sick while in my care.
- What do I do when I arrive?
