All dogs coming for boarding and daycare must be in good health. If your dog has been experiencing any symptoms of ill health, you must let me know before arriving for your drop off appointment. If any dog shows symptoms of ill health, that dog is immediately isolated, and the owner contacted. We, the owner and I, mutually decide the best course of action for the sick dog, balanced against the needs of all the dogs here in my care. If it is determined the dog remains in my care, medical board rates apply for the remainder of the stay as well as any costs associated with vet visits. If the illness is potentially contagious, that dog remains in the “Sick Bay” isolation area for the safety of all the other dogs. Before the dog can leave Sick Bay, a vet must determine the dog does not pose any health risks to the other dogs.
All dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper. Proof of vaccinations is required before arriving for any services.
All dogs must be up to date on Flea/Tick and heartworm preventative. Any dog found to have fleas or parasites will be immediately dismissed from daycare and boarding and must be picked up by you or your emergency contact.
If your dog has separation anxiety, is destructive or eats/chews non-edible things, you must talk to me before booking Daycare or Boarding. The Bark & Call Inn is a home-based, open concept B&B. It is not suitable for dogs who ingest non-edible things or are destructive. If your dog is destructive while at The Bark & Call Inn, I will contact you and we will mutually decide if your dog remains here or if he is picked up by your emergency contact. You will be responsible for the cost of damages.
The Bark & Call Inn reserves the right to remove any dog at any time if they are deemed to be a risk to themselves or others.
