The B&C has a thoughtful introduction process that goes at your dog’s pace. It begins by introducing your dog to all the rooms and outdoor spaces and gradually introducing your dog to other dogs. This can take a few minutes or it can take the whole day depending on your dog’s comfort level in new places and overall sociability.
Some dogs are extremely social. These dogs leap right into group settings and are immediately the life of the party. Some dogs need a little more time to get used to a new routine, new spaces and new playmates. I go at your dog’s pace. The goal is for every dog to love coming here and be as relaxed as they are at home. I never force or rush a dog. If your dog needs a slower approach, I discuss that with you and come up with a plan.

The rooms here at The Bark & Call Inn have differing levels of separation and privacy and I use those rooms to offer a more gradual social experience, giving your dog the time he needs to be relaxed, happy and comfortable.
Dogs are accepted as ongoing clients on a case-by-case basis. We want all dogs to have a good experience here and ensuring each dog is a good fit is a top priority.
